Pilates sessions.
All clients receive a one-to-one initial assessment before attending any pilates session. An assessment takes about 30 minutes and comprises of 3 elements: a conversation regarding health status and specific goals, a pilates assessment and a practical introduction to the fundamental components of pilates.
The medical screening questionnaire ensures an individual’s health needs are fully considered as safety is paramount. There is opportunity here to discuss any particular issues that you want to address during the pilates private sessions or group classes. Then, a pilates assessment follows to understand and establish a client’s level of ability and needs. Finally, the fundamental principles of pilates are introduced in a practical way. This process assures clients starting pilates are exercising in a safe, appropriate and accurate way right from the start of the course.
